Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Launched Online Booking Tool and Proprietary Sales App

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants recently welcomed two new technology advancements with a one-stop-shop online booking tool and a proprietary sales app.

Kimpton launched the on-demand booking in an effort to meet the increasing desire of guests to be able to quickly book event space at any time. The new, user-friendly tools make the meetings and events experience more seamless for guests and allow them to enjoy a more visual experience in selecting a location.

It’s one of the many reasons our guests choose us; we’re uniquely positioned to be able to create one-of-a-kind meetings and events where absolutely nothing is cookie cutter,” said Christine Lawson, senior vice president, sales and catering for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. “Our new tools make the guest experience of planning and booking a group or meeting a simple and hassle free experience.”

Designed to showcase the more-than 60 hotels in the Kimpton portfolio, the new meetings and events interactive mobile sales app and online group booking tool helps the Kimpton’s sales team to better meet the needs of guests. 

The app makes it easy to find a Kimpton hotel for corporate, social and group events by showing photos, floor plans, menus and venue-specific information during a real-time discussion to help visualize future events. Individuals from the Kimpton sales teams are then able to send out follow-up emails to the potential client, directly from the app, immediately after the conversation. These emails can include brochures about the hotels that were discussed during the meeting and comparison grids of all Kimpton hotels in various cities.

Kimpton also launched an easy-to-use online booking tool, Kimpton Instant Meetings (K.I.M.), which provides anyone the ability to book a group or meeting quickly and easily in as little as five days out from the desired date. K.I.M. users are able to self-select all of their group and meeting needs, from dates and locations to catering and audio/visual needs.  

Plus, the San Francisco-based hotel and restaurant offers a personalized culinary experience for meetings and events including smoothie bars, build-your-own trail mix stations or gluten-free options. In addition, the award-winning restaurants and bars are led by talented chefs and bartenders.

Kimpton is continuously growing and currently operates 60 hotels and nearly 70 restaurants, bars and lounges in 26 cities.
