New Chief Information Officer for Hilton

Robert Webb has been named chief information officer for the Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Webb joins Hilton from Equifax, the Atlanta-headquartered global credit information and technology solutions provider, where he held a similar position.

Prior to joining Equifax, Webb held executive positions at General Electric including CIO of GE Commercial Finance, GE Global Consumer Finance and GE Energy Services.

Webb holds a BA degree from the University of Western Ontario and received his MBA from the European School of Management in Paris.
