Every now and then a product comes along that makes you stop in your tracks and think - this is going to change things. For me, that new product isn't really a product but a mobile event app builder called Twoppy.
Twoppy allows for event organizers to create an app with multiple layers of information within eight simple to follow steps. Create a map (or use a Google Map) and mark off locations guests should know about, add speakers with the own bios and any extra appearances they might make during your event like book signings or VIP luncheons.
The opportunities are endless and although their tutorial video walks through a music festival set-up, I think it would translate well for both conferences and outdoor events. "You can use twoppy® for festivals, exhibitions, conferences, amusement parks, zoos and sporting events. Even as a city guide, travel guide or theater guide it will be great for your visitors." explains the website.
It is worth noting that company is Dutch so if your organization upgrades from the free account, you may need to look up a conversion tool when deciding on an upgraded plan.
