Some meetings need a conference room. Others could use a mountain. At YMCA of the Rockies, groups get both. With two Colorado destinations, Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, planners can bring people together in places designed for connection, with meeting spaces, lodging, dining, and plenty of fresh-air ways to turn coworkers into actual teammates.

Estes Park Center sits on 860 acres, bordered on three sides by Rocky Mountain National Park. The campus pairs serious meeting capability with a setting that makes stepping outside between sessions feel like part of the agenda. Groups can choose from 553 lodge rooms, nine retreat cabins, and 60 meeting rooms, with 90,000 square feet of indoor meeting space.

When it is time to close the laptops, planners and attendees will find guided hikes, challenge courses, archery, campfires, and other team-building activities that give groups a natural way to connect—no awkward icebreakers required.

About 90 miles west, Snow Mountain Ranch gives groups room to spread out across 5,100 acres of Colorado high country. Its 173 lodge rooms, eight retreat cabins, 24 meeting rooms, and 27,000 square feet of indoor meeting space accommodates everything from focused retreats to larger gatherings.

The setting does some heavy lifting, too. Snow Mountain Ranch offers an expansive trail system for hiking, biking, walking, and Nordic skiing, plus seasonal activities that make it easy to build movement and shared experiences into the schedule.

At both properties, group planners can find on-site lodging, dining and catering, flexible meeting spaces, and dedicated Conference Coordinators who help manage the details. That means fewer moving parts for planners and more time for groups to focus on why they came together in the first place. Sometimes, the best thing you can add to the agenda is a little altitude.
