Join IMEX for their new program called Be Well at IMEX, on October 13th -15th in Las Vegas. At the Inspiration Hub there will be over 180 education sessions. One of the sessions offered is Building a care package for road warriors: promoting wellness at meetings and events, where Dr. Mary Ellen Rose from the Institute for Healthy Destination Accreditation will be speaking on how to create a healthy working environment on the road, sharing wellbeing recourses as well as sharing travel tips and techniques. Another session offered will be taught by Diogo Assis, CEO of events by tlc and organizer of the new IMEXrun Las Vegas, where he will discuss the growth of sports in the events industry and give advice on building activities into a conference and event’s itinerary.
Robyn Davis from WINH (When I Need Help) will be sharing tips on maintaining healthy habits while traveling. “Many professionals struggle to maintain their routines while traveling,” says Davis. “However, eating right, exercising, getting proper sleep, and enriching their minds are all important, regardless of which time zone they’re in.”
Meditation experts will offer sessions on yoga, mindfulness and meditation and will provide a quiet space to relax in the brand new Meditation Room. The Meditation Room will also host a series of morning mindfulness activities.
“With packed schedules, healthy habits can often take a back seat.” Said Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX Group. “We’re keen to help attendees relax and recharge so they’re in top form to make the most of their busy days on the show floor. The launch of the new Meditation Room and the IMEXrun Las Vegas are two exciting ways attendees can boost their health at the show.”
On Wednesday, October 14th the new IMEXrun Las Vegas 5K will be taking place. The run is sponsored by Embratur and RioTur and is organized by sports by tlc. The run will be along the Las Vegas Strip.
