The first IMEX Run will take place in Las Vegas on Wednesday October 14 at 6:30 a.m. This will give IMEX America participants the opportunity to exercise their body and mind, and explore Vegas.
This run is designed to incorporate the sites of Vegas with fun and fitness. The 5-kilometer course starts at the Venetian outdoor bridge & gondola and passes partly along the Vegas strip. Following the run a fresh fruit reception will be provided at the finish line as a way to energize the runners before their day at the tradeshow event.
Sports TLC strongly believes that sports have the ability to enhance individual development, business responsibly, and quality of life. At IMEX America 2015 a new “Be Well at IMEX” program will be presented featuring the IMEXrun Las Vegas. This new program features a plethora of wellness and education sessions, which includes an online wellness guide and a new meditation room located at the Inspiration Hub on the show floor.
“As meetings professionals we are often on the road so wellness is an important topic,” said Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX. “We think the IMEXrun Las Vegas captures the dynamic, caring, strong, and community-driven spirit of our industry, and will provide a fun and energizing way for people to kick off their second morning at the show.”
