PIDC, Philadelphia’s public-private economic development corporation, is proud to announce a new partnership with ESM Productions and Vetri family. The new partnership will manage events at The Navy Yard during the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
ESM Productions, a Philadelphia-based event production company, will lead the efforts to utilize the venue. Christina Wong, vice president of ESM Productions, will manage the project. Wong stated, “We plan to offer a very adaptable structure that can be used for a variety of events throughout the Convention. We look forward to the memorable and exciting experiences that we can design and execute at The Navy Yard.”
Vetri Family, headquartered at The Navy Yard, will be the exclusive food and beverage partner for the events held at The Navy Yard. Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Benjamin, said, “What an incredible opportunity to showcase Philadelphia and the growth that is taking place at The Navy Yard. We are honored to work with PIDC and ESM Productions to be able to help create world-class events directly adjacent to the main stage.”

Over the years, The Navy Yard has been transformed into a vibrant urban professional setting ideal for an event of any size. It has a variety of event spaces and rental of these spaces will include access to water, power, and restrooms. It also has a convenient location due to being on shuttle routes to and from other convention sites and hotels.
