Meet Minneapolis recently announced the opening of Minneapolis Visitor Information on Nicollet. The address of the new location is 505 Nicollet Avenue and will feature Minneapolis artistic retail, resources for transit, how to navigate the city and where to go on your visit.

Located directly across the street from the Nicollet METRO stop, Meet Minneapolis partnered with CenterPoint Energy to move into the 5,000-square-foot corner of the CenterPoint building on its street level. The hours of the Minneapolis Visitor Information will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday from 12-5 p.m.

The new Minneapolis Viitor Information will feature a shop that sells local art, sports merchandise, jewelry, ceramics and more all made by Minnesota artists. Move Minneapolis has also moved into the new location and will continue to provide the services to commuters they are known for. There are plans in the works that would designate the Meet Minneapolis Nicollet spot as a starting point for tours of the city and a social media command center.

A grand opening celebration for Minneapolis Visitor Information will be announced at a later date for early December. Â
