By M+E Staff

The Hard Rock Cafe’s return to Minnesota is right around the corner. The new dining and entertainment venue is opening in the Mall of America in late August.

Among the noteworthy memorabilia hanging on the walls at Hard Rock Café Mall of America is a Swarovski crystal bodysuit worn by Rihanna during her “Last Girl on Earth” tour; a jacket worn by Jimi Hendrix while filming “Rainbow Bridge;” a Jose Ramirez Model 1A guitar played by George Harrison of the Beatles; a dress worn by Lady Gaga at the Polaroid Press Conference; a suit worn by Prince during his “Sign o’ the Times” tour; and a set of lyrics written by Bruce Springsteen for his 1975 “Born to Run” album.

The 15,000-square-foot facility showcases Hard Rock’s updated look and latest technology. With ability to seat 400 guests, the location will also have a private event space, a live music stage with a capacity for 1,200 guests, two spacious bars, a 750-square-foot Rock Shop retail store and an interactive Rock Wall Wall Solo™, a 52-inch high-resolution interactive touch wall that enables fans to virtually explore the music memorabilia collection.
