The Radisson Blu at the Mall of America Turns Green

By M+E Staff

The Radisson Blu at the Mall of America is going green for the month of September thanks to their “Bright Green Team” lead by Brenda Schultz, the director of responsible business for the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. The effort is part of a series of green initiatives to make the hotel a more environmentally conscience place.

Beginning during the first week of the month, employess will be greeted with hot beverages in eco-friendly cups with resuable cotton cup sleeves. The following week, employees will be given their own trees to plant to contribute to the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s goal of planting 7,500 trees during the month.

During the final weeks of the month, employees will focus their energies on turning off the lights in conference rooms, powering down computers and a QR Code collection of apps suggesting environmentally responsible tips to explore during the year.
