Join the Chaska Curling Center for a Unique Activity that’s Fun for All

By Linda Krein

Chaska Curling Center opened in December 2015, and has really taken off. In that short period of time, it has grown to 1,200 curlers currently, making them largest curling membership in the country. Lately, they’ve found that corporate team-building activities have become popular in the center, which can hold up to 48 guests for events. Larger groups upwards of 100 can be accommodated by splitting the group in half.

“Most people that come in don’t know how to curl. So we give them the rundown on how to play, throw the rock, sweep, and score points. Before you know it, they’re out there playing a game and having a blast,” says Jeff Isaacson, manager of the Chaska Curling Center. “The neat thing with curling is that anybody can play it and have a good time. It’s accommodating for any age or ability.”

For meetings or events, groups can reserve the Player’s Lounge, which seats 40 people comfortably, or they can rent the Chaska Event Center, which seats up to 300 people. Chaska Curling Center has also partnered with Crooked Pint Ale House for catering group meals. Curling has undoubtedly become an increasingly popular activity and a great team-building option for groups.
