Event Snapshots: NACE Eat the Heat Event Raises Funds for Keep Austin Fed

The NACE Austin annual fundraiser Eat the Heat—on Aug. 13, 2015, at Shoal Crossing Event Center—was a fun-filled evening with local chefs from the top catering companies, restaurants and hotel kitchens, local breweries and wineries, a silent auction, music and other entertainment. The fundraiser proceeds benefit the Foundation of NACE and its local charity partner, Keep Austin Fed. Keep Austin Fed is a volunteer based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that gathers wholesome and nutritious surplus food from commercial kitchens and distributes it to area charities that serve hungry people in need.
