The Northwest’s hotel pipeline continues to flourish this year, with several distinctive properties debuting or wrapping major renovations, and many others on their way to opening soon—all providing planners with fresh options to consider for their meetings and events.

Wentworth Hospitality Group, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is set to open the Arden Hotel in Vancouver this May. The hotel will launch in a converted 1970s office building, encouraging sustainable development by reusing existing infrastructure. It will feature 62 guest rooms, a fitness studio, versatile meeting and event space, and a restaurant with an outdoor dining patio. thearden.com

The Cambria Hotel Portland–Pearl District opened in Oregon last October, featuring 178 guest rooms, a fitness studio, 1,350 square feet of meeting space, and a marketplace for snacks and travel essentials. The property is just north of the city’s downtown near many restaurants and shops, including the acclaimed Powell’s Books bookstore three blocks away. cambriapearl.com

Faraway Jackson Hole is expected to open this summer in Wyoming’s Teton Village, just south of Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks, and northwest of Jackson. The hotel will emerge as a complete rebrand and transformation of the Snake River Lodge & Spa, and the updates will feature fresh guest rooms, a renovated lobby lounge, cocktail club, and new restaurant. Planners also will find meeting and event space on-site for diverse gathering types. farawayjacksonhole.com

In January, Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, also in Teton Village, wrapped a $6.9 million renovation project, with updates focused on guest rooms and suites, corridors, meeting spaces, and wellness amenities. The 132 overnight rooms received fresh furnishings and finishes, and the 2,800-square-foot Murie Ballroom acquired new carpeting and chandeliers inspired by the shape of trees. and an infrared sauna. hotelterrajacksonhole.com

The Big Sky location features a collection of cabins, suites, and private residences, as well as several gathering spaces for meetings and events. The latter includes The Landing restaurant and bar with its tall windows, showcasing views of the surrounding mountains, and farm-to-table fare.
