Owned and operated by father-daughter duo John and Cara Gambini since 2008, Texas Hill Country Olive Co. sits on 17 acres in the town of Dripping Springs, just outside Austin. As third- and fourth-generation Italian Americans, the pair had a dream of bringing a bit of their heritage to Texas, deciding to plant rows of olive trees to make olive oils and vinegars. Planners can organize private tastings, paired with lunch, for their groups. The property also has a dedicated event space on-site for up to 70 people seated, and it includes an adjacent outdoor courtyard. Venue buyout options are available as well.
“Since day one, the focus has been on preserving the natural beauty of the area while providing fresh, locally produced virgin olive oil and other premium-quality products,” says Jaclyn Hatfield, general manager at the property. Planners also will find attendee gifting options, including gift boxes containing items like olive oil, balsamic vinegar, spice packs, stuffed olives, and more.
