Hotel Vitale, a Joie de Vivre Hotel in San Francisco, recently announced the appointment of David Lemmond to the position of general manager.

Beginning his hospitality career at The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia, this Pennsylvania native brings extensive experience to his new role. Formerly, Lemmond oversaw the flagship The Standard, High Line. He previously held the title of general manager at The Standard, Downtown LA and The Standard Spa, Miami Beach; each property was launched by Lemmond and his team. His management experience also extends to Chamberlain, West Hollywood, Viceroy Santa Monica and Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, which he also established.
